1. Show her a rack of 20 coats in her size.
2. Walk past them like Vanna White, brushing your hand across the coats as you tell her about all the fun colors.
3. Announce how cute they all are and exclaim, 'won't it be fun to try them on'.
4. Suggest she try on the lavender, the light blue one and a couple of pink ones.
5. Watch as she walks over to the fushia puffy coat, takes it off the hanger, puts in on and pronounces that she is done shopping.
6. Be slightly depressed.
7. Be happy again and remember that there is still time to train her to be your shopping buddy when she is older.

My name is Kristina, and I'm a coat addict. I own about 17 coats. My heart would break too, if my daughter picked out the ugly puffy coat.
There is a down side to having daughters with the opposite affliction..... 2 hours at the mall to buy 1 pair of shoes, don't be daft!! Better pack a lunch, and dinner to, and I may need to take a nap for a bit in the bedding department!! One daughter heads straight for the sensible brown velcro sneakers, the other daughter is just not sure life is worth living without the 3 inch heels - fushia with rhinestone and sequins!!
The day will come when you will appreciate her ability to know her own mind!
Next time you want to shop, look around and pick someone else :-)
She knows what she wants - I love it! Cush
