A long time coming.

Today is the last day of daycare for Miss Emma. I've decided to keep her home for August. She will hang out with her brother, me, then her Dad for a few days. Daycare has taken its toll on me through Brax and then Emma. I hope, for all our sakes, that it is finished.

She is now registered for first grade. Incredible.

I so miss that little face, but the time to move on has come.

Hallelujah.

blessings and gratitude

today I am very grateful for our neighbor and elders quorum president bob and his lovely wife Angie. tonight he came over at 10:30 p.m. after what was a very long day at work and fixed our a/c.

it was
sooo hot and we are extremely grateful to be sleeping in cool air again.

concern for the one.

Found this on the BYU CTL Web site today. Thought it was lovely.

“The Lord did not people the earth with a vibrant orchestra of personalities only to value the piccolos of the world. Every instrument is precious and adds to the complex beauty of the symphony. All of Heavenly Father’s children are different in some degree, yet each has his own beautiful sound that adds depth and richness to the whole.”

Joseph B. Wirthlin, “Concern for the One,” Ensign, May 2008.
